Ass on fire : Bachaao Bachaao!! ;)

Life sometimes loves to light up our asses on fire and this week has been just like that.;) Although my sixth sense kept pestering me,telling me everyday "Something bad is going to happen", I tried passing it off as PMS.This happens to me a lot of many times, I get these signs before something is abt to happen to the people I am close to. Ankii (my younger bro) got Chicken Pox and that too pretty severe. It is a horrifying experience to see someone go thru that. I have been thru it and I understand his state completely.Its okay if you are a kid but wen it happens to a grown-up it screws you bad. He is restless coz he is not someone who loves lazying around and half of my time goes in sobering him down and explaining it to him that it is our body's way of getting back on us...coz we mistreat it all the time. For me, my kid brothers are like kids, really. Although, they tease me for holding myself responsible for everything in the house and taking up every responsibility even when it is not needed. But, I can't help it. May be, being the eldest in the family inculcate those characterstics in a person. It is ofcourse disheartening to see him go thru this but I try my best to keep his spirits up by reading him the newspaper(he is not allowed to watch TV, read etc) and joking abt most of the news pieces there. For eg: the most hilarious one is this one- An Indian brother duo came up with this Vegetarian Condom...LOL. I never knew that a condom is veg or non-veg...how do they define them...I mean differentiate them....hehe ;). You know my SENSE of humor, anyways!! hehehe... we both laughed out aloud and then we discussed abt KKR team of IPL and ripped SRK apart. ;) And as they call me Miss tripsy... hehe... I made so many mistakes(I do) while taking care of him... he was teasing me when I told him "yaar tu chain se beemar padd, main teri sevaa karungi... and later when I told him" yaar dekh, mujhey theek se sevaa karni nahi aati, Cooperate haan!!"... all this while he kept laughing at me. I love to do that to people.Give them reasons to laugh, you see. :) Meanwhile, my manager is being too nice to me coz he is waiting to suck up my blood just like Vampires do... He has another so-called challenging assignment for me where we have no clue abt the product, abt technique or abt the approach, yet he asked me to finish it up in 4 weeks. I was like "ARE YOU MAD??" but then I stopped myself from saying that. I knw that, he knws tht... No point letting the poor soul knw abt his real state of mind again and again. Usko hurt hota hoyega. Well if Ankii is not good then his twin "The Ranbir Kapoor of the house" (Am sure Mads is interested here) also starts feeling low and he gets pissed with smallest of ignition. Oh! how can I forget.. some very interesting relatives came over for my Dad's Grandfather's Barsi. Dad organized a BHANDAARA at the temple and well, these relatives, they have so much tantrums. No one will even stand up frm their place or move their lazy fat ass a bit. Sab kuch baithey baithey chahiye bas... I am not anti-relatives.. Okay! fine... I AM. So while I was at work from home, they screwed up my day with their tantrums and "Beta, yeh laao, woh kardo, chai banaao, idhar aao, shaadi kab karni hain?, aisey nahi boltey , chalo chalo... ab career chor ke shaadi ke baarey mein socho"...OFFO!! Yaar meri jaan chor do... bas bas... Anyways, it did not affect me much after sometime as I was too busy working for a very imptt business-win whole nite long. Saala manager he was off to watch a movie with his family and I was working here telling myself, itney din ho gaye ek date pey bhi nahi gayi ladki. :D I have been awfully tired, under-rested and am a complete dormant volcano... just abt to burst... I think I shud wear a "KEEP DISTANCE OR I WILL BLOW YOU AWAY" t-shirt for whole week. Upar se.. some freaking people just keep crossing that line with me... but I have no time to address them.. It can wait... for now, its time to get back to work and dream abt a holiday. :)

Haww...Kya tum GAY ho??

Morning papers have something really nice about them. They give you all shocks, surprises and make you go through a surge of emotions. Something that sometimes even a good sex can't do. HAHA... Controversial!! Controversy reminds me of the news about BOMBAY DOST in the papers these days. When the first time I got to know about this Mag, I thought it is some DOSTI Magazine based on Youngster's Friendships and Relationships, but when I read further, I got to know it is a Gay and Lesbian Community Magazine. No, Like any average Indian, I did not raise my brows and assume that it is about some sleazy homosexual porn stuff. I was curious that even if Celina Jaitely will re-introduce it after a long time, how will it be received in this age of Moral policing and all that bullshit of Blah blah Senas. I was expecting too much hoo-hallaa around it and I was not wrong. People have started sending her hate mails and some people branded her as a LESBIAN herself. I don't bother if she is one or not. A statement issued from the Mag's editor makes me feel more weird. He says "Celina participated in the march despite the fact that people may assume her to be gay".Arey, even if they assume so... kya bura hain... there is nothing wrong in that, you don't need to justify it to the world whether u love people of same sex or opposite sex. I have worked with gays, lesbians and transexuals in my office and let me tell you they respect us for being "Straight" and they deserve the same respect for being who they are.My organization is also very sensitive about this and no one is allowed to comment or even be judgemental about them. They are not aliens... aasman se hi aye hain woh.. jahan se hum aaye hain... arey bhayee... toh fir why this homophobia...High time!! we come out of our stupid moral policing cobweb and accept the world as it is. Come on yaar, gay ho yaa lesbian, jeeney do unko bhi... how come is it a CRIME waisey bhi?? Pata nahi... I dont get these ajeeb fundaas... Jo jaisey rehna chaahta hain, rehney do naa yaar. Tum apni life fix karo... aivayee velley pareshan karna bhagwaan aur culture ke naam pey...There so many important things and issues in our country that need to be addressed and we are still caught up with Gay yaa Straight. All I wanna say is : Jeeyo aur Jeeny Do bhaiya...itna time aata kahaan se hain doosro ki life ki band bajaaney ka??Ghar pe biwi maarti hain... bachchon ki class 5 ke sawaal solve nahi hotey tumsey... aur yahan chaley judgement pass karney doosro par... :D hehe... Apni ko toh sudhaar lo pehley.hehe

Arey,toh kya hua, if I am straight, I still support the MAG - BOMBAY DOST. Everyone has a right of expression,let it be gays or straights.Woh koi special nahi... humaari tarah hi hain... after all insaan hi hain yaar... thodi toh insaniyat dikhaaoo...unka peecha karna band karo...

Haww... main toh emotional hi ho gayi iss post ko lekey... Hona hi chahiye... Injustice kahin bhi ho, injustice hain bas.

Kabhi pub mat jaao, kabhi jeans mat pehno, kabhi angrezi mat bolo,kabhi yeh mat karo.. kabhi woh mat karo... sarr hi khaa gayi yeh moral police... Huh! NOTE: PLEASE DON'T TAKE OFFENSE WITH THE POST. THE AUTHOR DOES NOT MEAN TO HURT ANYONE ELSE EXCEPT HOMOPHOBICS. :)

The Unknown Perfect

Love is all around me...that reminds me of Billy Mack when he strives hard to get it right in Love Actually "I feel it in my fingers..."....haha... that is my most favourite scene of the movie apart from ofcourse the romantic scenes. :)

This phrase takes me back to the time when everyone around me was falling in love and I was busy reading Mills n Boons. Naah! before you reach any conclusions, I was not spinning an imaginary love story around me....lol. I was just too fascinated with the perfect love stories and perfect people.

As I grew up, I realized there are no perfect people and no perfect love stories. It is all about how you see perfection in the most imperfect situations and people and they turn out to be in your favour.

"How can a person spend his/her whole life with one person and not get bored of it? I get bored of people so easily." : I used to ask my mom as a teenager when we discussed marriage and love (Not that I have changed now...lol). Her initial reaction made me think that she was shocked that how cud GOD do THAT to her, give her a daughter like me... hehe. Gradually, she realized I am not THAT bad. :D

I still ask myself this question but then I see people around me who are not some romantic characters straight out of movies like HEER RANJHA or ROMEO JULIET but they are very ordinary people but the way they live their lives together makes them special.

I believe that near-to-perfect love stories do exist and they exist in this very very ordinary world we live in but we fail to notice them.You just need to open your eyes to them.

When I see Dad getting up early to fix breakfast for Mom as she is the first one to leave for work or when I see Mom going that extra-mile to make sure Dad is comfortable and he has something to eat even when she is away, I ask myself " Will I ever be able to love someone this deep, this strong?".

When I see my best friend giving up on her taste of movies and try n learn more about sports coz she wants to be a part of her husband's happiness and his enthusiasm for sports I tell myself "This is how you love" and when her husband takes her out for movies even when he hates to go thru the sobbing romances, I smile to myself.

When I witness my maid working hard so she cud pay for her husband's medical bills and when she makes plans to cook something really special every Sunday for him, I feel so touched. Their love is not influenced by money or materialism, it is pure love.

In their own special way, they love their partners and they sacrifice, adapt and sometime do not express, yet their love-stories never get penned down by anyone and published.

Although my MB addiction is not going to end soon, but I wonder when I have so much love around me, who needs MBs...!! ;)

I donno why I wrote this one... waisey bhi I hardly ever know why I write what I write... Just a sudden thought today made me realize I live amongst people who define love so PERFECTLY. I feel blessed I have them around me, coz they keep my faith in love intact. :)

DAMN! Almost all the guys wud have gone to sleep by now reading this.LOL No Apologies, guys. ;)

Dosti,Lafdey etc.

Mere blog ka gaana sunkey jhaasey mein mat aana ;) Arey yaar badi mushkil se dhoonda yeh...

Anyways, last 1 week went by in getting the laptop fixed but last two days were spent in contemplation. Kabhi kabhi mujhey bhi sochney ki beemari lag jaati hain... kya karein... ek chota sa bheja mere paas bhi hain...lol

I have realized a very imptt thing about myself : I tend to invest a lot, kinda 100% in every relationship in the beginning and I raise expectations by two-folds. People expect, I respect and there comes a time when I turn human and I fall short on the 100%. Here starts the mazedaar mess, the other person in the relationship starts doubting the genuinity from my side and I am completely misunderstood.

I think it is very human to do that, it is human to not being able to fulfill expectations. I am glad I am human enuff. Being sainty(donno if tht's a word) hurts at times... okay! okay... almost all the time. :)

So, boom goes the expectation and boom goes the relationship. Donno whom to blame, but as I always believe, sometimes letting go is the best we can do and it feels great to let go.

Now I set my soul free of all the burden of guilt, I set all of that 100% free and I set all those people free of my clutches. :)

Only few of my frenz understand the REAL me and they are with me for all those long years. Coz they understand what lies behind that smile, that frown, that "I donno what to say", "I care for you", "I am always there", that anger and that lil trickle of tear.

I am glad they stuck around and for everyone else, all I can say is sometimes people meet for a reason and we met for one. Probably, I am not needed in your life anymore, may be the reason for you is fulfilled, the lessons have been learnt from my side... so we move on.

In friendship, you never justify. You never do. I think in friendship you dont ask questions, you understand and you never see ki mainey itna kiya... usney utna kiya...u just do things for each other and you forget abt it. You never count such things... you count wonderful memories and sweet gestures maybe.

Jo bhi ho... I have some friends. We hardly talk but we understand. That is the beauty of a DOSTI. Silence is a language too. :)

Well, donno what you guys think abt all this... but as always jo mann mein aata hain... likh deti hun...

Breakdown Ho Gaya :(

Chalo logo... I needed this much deserved break and I've got it. Donno how will it go. My laptop has given up on me this Sunday and it needs a lot of fixing to be done by the Hardware team in my organization, so no more being online and no more blogging. Miss me guys... and gals... ;) I am sure you will... and I will miss all the fun in the blog-world. Ciao!!

Fist Fight, Rakhi Sawant and Friend's talk

Yeah I agree,yesterday was not one of those wonderful days as you call them.

- My best friend and me argued about my weight yet again. I wish a day of exercise could make me lose some 10 kgs so the results show early.My point is I don't want to lie lazy on bed and lose weight. I wanna let my lazy ass work a bit and my body to feel the change it wud be going thru. So my mantra is exercise. Although, I would not call myself an active person NOW. But once I am ON with my regime, you dare stop me and am already back to work-outs. " IF YOU CANNOT SPARE AN HOUR FOR YOUR BODY EVERYDAY, KILL YOURSELF"- My Yoga Uncle (I mean guruji..hehehe) told me once. Baad mein I saw Akki baby saying the same thing on TV.

- Then,had a fist fight with my younger sibling and ended up getting hurt...LOL... Cried for almost an hour and then went ahead with my work.I am going to miss it all when am ceremonially sent to my in-laws place. :)

-Happy and Rustam had another fight and Rustam almost killed him...I think he needs an 'ART OF LIVING' session. :D

- I took a break from work and switched on TV and what I saw made me put my palms on my mouth out of shock.RAKHI SAWANT-The reality TV diva in India, is going to have one more DRAMA on TV. She is going to marry on TV aur woh bhi Svayamvar. Offo!! Iski shaadi Osama se karvaa do, I am sure saari problem hi solve ho jaayegi. Woh toh India ke darvaazwey pe aakey, haath jod key, rokar,maththa tek ke jaayega...LOL

- I helped two architects resolving their technical issues and sadly mera bheja fry ho gaya yeh kartey kartey. Due to extensive work load I cannot even find time for the other stuff I have to do on JOB apart from the Client Assignments.Later, I gave my MBA assignment exams and they drained me out of all energy at the end of it all. Beh-faaltu mein time pass.huh!

The best part of the day was that it rained and how much I love it everytime when it rains...WOW!! Rain does something to me...it washes away all my sadness and stress. Just makes me smile and I did smile yesterday when I took Happy and Rustam for a walk. The sky looked so beautiful, huge clouds embracing each other and the misty cool breeze made me feel I was back to nature.

Thanks to my friend, the lil angel. She called me last nite and we talked abt many things: relationships, people, work, studies and life. Interestingly,we reached a conclusion that we have some very negative people and trouble-makers in our lives who only caused us pain and hurt even when we gave our best in that relationship so we both decided. FORGET IT!! Let's live for our own self now. We prepared a list verbally and realised there are only very few friends who give us the pleasure and freedom of being ourselves, whom we refer to as 'true frenz'. I think itz the same for all of us.

Sometimes this friend-to-friend talk does wonders to you and it was one of those days which started on a not-so-gud note but ended beautifully.

ABHI NAHI... TOH KABHI NAHI

With the DHOOM of elections everywhere, our country looks nothing short of a MACHCHI BAZAAR... I wud say it is worst than that. Aunties(Read Mayawati, Sonia Gandhi, Menaka Gandhi,Jayalalitha,Sushma and most of their clans) keep pulling each other down, in one way or the other. Some raise questions on upbringing, others on religion and the rest on the domicile. Makes me laugh and reminds me of Mohalla Culture... jahaan auratein dhaniya methi todey todtey... kayee ghar bhi tod jaati hain ;) Frooti ad-men are shouting it aloud "Never Grow up"... and I think the only people listening are Uncles and Aunties of Political world...they really will never grow up... Wish they did. Uncles (Advani,Modi,Chidambaram,Laloo,Varun,Prakash Karat and their gangs) threaten each other, blame each other, give away money, sleep around with women in Delhi and get up again to fight FOR the country... IRONICAL... Did you read the report about how the prostitutes in Delhi are all busy during peak election season as all party bosses need to de-stress... and relax after a day of bitching and mud-slinging...?? BAAP REY!! Yeh chalaayengey apna desh?? Everywhere we see the messages like " VOTE AGAINST CORRUPTION" " VOTE FOR A BETTER TOMORROW"... and blah blah... I say... Okay! cool... I agree but whom do I vote for?? I dont see any potential person I can confide in and or I can trust my country with... I dont see anyone who holds that promise for the citizens of the country that future is going to be brighter... Whom shud I vote for?? Sorry... I donno... When I decided to vote for Mayawati (LOL, ofcourse am joking), her MPs start bashing men, molesting women and spreading terror, so I give up... Then I thought about voting for BJP(yeah, I was drunk when I thought abt it), but BJP MPs started distributing money and MAA DAA LADLA Varun gave a long hate speech and I cud feel communalism dripping off his words the way it does frm the party itself. Main kaha... chalo ji... koi nahi... Left parties ke barey mein sochein... but then I saw them standing nowhere without a backbone... Sab hua... I thought abt my favourite Laloo ( Oh! he is awesome with those silly one-liners...hehe), but he said he wud have crushed Varun... VIOLENT!! ahem! Ek chance SP ko bhi diya... but Sunjoo Baba also started playing dirty tricks with his 'BADEY BHAIYA' Amar Singh... Iss aadmi ko koi kaam nahi...sahi mein....Yeh choti si musibat ki pudiyaa... :D Finally laut ke budhdhu ghar ko aaye... thought abt Congress and how they sweet talked and blindfolded the country and led us to where we are... I respect Dr. Manmohan Singh for who he is... coz I heard my grandpa talk abt him when I was a kid and he was always perceived by me as an intelligent man. But ji... yahan bhi but aa gaya... Inflation hitting all time high and then dropping down to almost ZERO... ( THAT IS oh-so-dangerous)...Deflation is never too good for any economy... Terrorist dancing to glory and Scams flexing their muscles... all happened under this intelligent leadership. After a lot of hard work and thinking process, I gave in.... and decided I will blindfold myself and play Teeny Weeny Wanky and vote... SHOCKED?? Well, I forgive easily at times.. but I cant forgive 26/11,Ayushi murder, Soumya Murder, Rapists living it up, Criminals contesting elections, Scams, Law-breakers... Grrrrrrrrrrr....so it is better I leave it all up and vote without knowing whose hands am I dumping my country in. I was about to seal this decision of mine but then I met some wonderful kids this weekend and they made me change my decision. I realized that if I'll act so ignorantly and so will others then what will happen to these kiddos(AAMIR KHAN AD HANGOVER:))... hehe I think this is high time I shud feel responsible for my country and for its future... ABHI NAHI... TOH KABHI NAHI... and although I have never voted at all... THIS time I WILL... I WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SOME WAY... Coz cribbing and blaming is all that I have done so far.. it is time for me to take charge of who I want to lead me to a better future... Everyone has imperfections but I have to look beyond them... and choose a leader who will guide me and my country to a better tomorrow. I think our tolerance has been mistaken for ignorance oflate... and I think the time has come for us to get up, pour some cold water in our eyes, remove the curtains, do away with darkness and let the light come in.. All in all, I want to urge all the people who still managed to hang on to this post (which is not funny, interesting and may be not at all happy) to VOTE... VOTE AGAINST EVERY WRONG TO MAKE IT ALL RIGHT :) Hain ki nahi... baad mein yeh toh nahi bologey naa ki main vote karta toh baat hi kuch aur thi... toh miss nahi karney ka... Newspaper Fights!!

We look forward to nothing else with so much eagerness, the way we look forward to that lonesome man who comes rushing on his bicycle with a bundle tied on the backseat of his cycle every morning.

I wonder if he ever sleeps at nite coz he is the first one to get up every morning.... Yeah! Yeah! I am talking about the newspaper delivery boy.

Every household(especially in India) waits for him for different reasons... Infact every member of the family has his/her own reason for reading the newspaper... Some men take it to the loo coz they can't answer the nature's call without reading thru the newspaper...the kids in the house look forward to the kids-supplement... the teenagers of the house look forward to the magazine sections...Women wait for the masala stories and Woman Specials... and this triggers

THE NEWSPAPER FIGHT....

This fight is going on from the day newspapers were introduced... Every morning the warriors get up to catch hold of their bait... so they beat the others and win it all ;)

hehe... I know this sounds weird... but then I have been watching this for years...

We have always been a joint family and we all fight for newspapers... Dad is an early-riser so usually he wins it...sometimes he purposely hides the paper on a weekend so we actually don't lazy around the whole day with the paper spread all over the bed... ;)

My bhai-log are a step ahead... they play the snatching game... so u have to purposely hold tightly to the paper while u r reading it...coz u may never knw when the predator comes to claim his target... lol

Sometimes the trophy(newspaper) gets all broken and torn up... coz the warriors try to snatch it... pull it and at the end of it all they usually lose it ;) ;)

Property, Job and Education supplements have no demand so they are all time available... Poor thingies!!

Gossip supplements and magazines are a HIT... no matter wat...

Once the scores are settled and if the trophy is still living to tell the story... the PRAJAA gets to hold it... ;) which means me and mom get to read it... else... Happy and Rustam know how to use it to their advantage and play TUG-OF-WAR with them... :D
